OT: Sort Order of Replies

I know this is kind of off topic, but has anyone else noticed that the sort order of the replies are sometimes out of whack?

For instance, in the Sample Light Ray Effect post, the last few replies are out of order (e.g. 1/16/2004, 1/19/2004, 1/20/2004 and finally 1/17/2004). I've noticed this in a couple of other postings as well.

No biggie, just wondering if it is just me or if others have noticed it as well.

Change your account to show "non-threaded" in the "forum views" option.

I think also your reply tends to post linked to whatever posting you're on when you reply (Does that makes sense?).

In other words, if you reply to second posting, your reply shows up right under the second posting rather than down at the bottom as a most recent post.
