I would bet Vegas 10 is coming out pretty soon.

It certainly makes the release of how to books difficult with the short timeframes for each version.

The book was delayed by Spot's hard meeting with planet Earth.

I've heard he's back in the air.
Hopefully he's now treating gravity with more gravitas :)

I'm not holding my breath for Vegas 10 -- and it's likely most of Vegas will not change. Spot's book is very welcome at this time. In fact, it HITS the SPOT.

there's a fair amount that needs attention in 9 before sony can realistically think of 10.

i've been with vegas since 4, and with each update (a, b, c, etc), they've usually cured major problems, though more recently nowadays, introduced new ones.

at the present moment 9c (for my purposes) is working, albeit with a few already well noted bugs. i would expect these to be cleared up in a point release (d) before i'd ever consider shelling out for an entirely new version.

and i hope spot has finally learnt why we're called 'beings', not 'boeings'. ;-)

Got mine today also. Looks good and I'm looking forward to cruising through it and reading in depth the areas I'm weak in. I know Vegas runs deep and Spot has a way of presenting things that gets me trying new things as well as providing a first class reference to Vegas. THANKS SPOT !!

"Hopefully he's now treating gravity with more gravitas :)" MMMMMmmmm, well, gravity won the first round, but I'll still keep my money on DSE!

I suspect DSE was editing his book during that that last bone jarring landing and he forgot to bank! ;-) Stating his book is a splash on the vegas scene has new meaning. ;-)

Arrived today—nowhere near the ends of the earth (North Bay, Ontario, Canada)—but on the outskirts!

Something to lighten the darkness of the shortest day of the (northern) year!

The cover though: O!U!C!H! (Skydivers if you haven't seen it.)
