OT: Stock footage of Rome

I have to put together a promotional video for a conference that will be held in Rome. The budget is next to nothing. I heard that you can get free footage from some City's Department of tourism. Just pay the price of tape stock... Anyone know anything about this????

Nope....what shots of Rome do you need? I've got some semi-decent shots of some areas, but also have a friend that just returned. I'm sure she took some good stuff, and might be willing to share. She's in the video software biz too, so understands how all this sort of issue works.

I know there are some shots on Digital Juices stock collection called VideoTraxx.. I believe you can even see them online at
www.digitaljuice.com look under VideoTraxx. and it is under one of the categories there.. something like travel or international.. Anyway there are small quicktime available to view what the footage looks like..

A pan over a few still might fit your needs. Stills are real easy to come by.
