OT - SVCU, SVCE and SVCT certs

Just curious about taking these self study courses and if they bring any real world value to the evangelism of SONY Vegas??? What about the SVCT cert - can't seem to find any information on SONY's site for this.

the SVCT cert is a little different than the others, and requires more than just Vegas knowledge. I dont' know that the entire program has ever been laid out on paper/HTML anywhere.
Acid, Sound Forge, Cinescore, Vegas, and all the other products are required knowledge for the SCVT certification, and involves training directly from the Sony training dept.

Hi Spot - what little I have gathered from SONY's site, do the first two certs provide anything of substance for promoting Vegas as a best solution NLE for Solo Video Journalism? I have some things in the works and have found Vegas far superior for specific kinds of editing that others would find beneficial. Any thoughts?

I've used Vegas since SonicFoundry 2.0. On a whim I went thru the SCVU program and learned more than I expected. I consider it worthwhile, FWIW, not necessarily for the logo but certainly to explore the program a little deeper.

Thanks Darryl - I think I'm going to look into this a little more as work is slowing a bit right now and would give me some time to get more up to speed with Vegas.
