upon trying to use Vegas audio record the meters pegged w no input potted up. Went to click off record button and system crashed. tried uninstall and reinstall same issue. I also had the newest version of \quicktime installer on my desktop tried to perform it and get the same error. It seems like a driver or hardware issue.
Does anyone know how to decifer the error mesaage as to what driver/hardware location this message means?
here are the two error messages i recieve:

error 1
BCCode:10008e BCP1:00000005 BCP2:8052aD24 BCP3:B3D086BC BCP4:00000000

or on the BSOD
stop: 0x0000008e,0x8052AD24,0xB319B170,0x00000000

I have already unsstalled and reinstall my FW 410 Drivers (had issue w that before)

Eric,
If you haven't already done this, Google "stop: 0x0000008e". There are some interesting articles in there. You'd be best placed to know if any of those suggestions can help you out. A bunch things can cause that stop code, including driver conflicts, PS problems, memory going south, etc...

well after pretty much disconnection every external and internal drive including all pci cards still get the same error. I'm starting to think it may be my motherboard, perhaps an internal failure since my firewire issue/burnout a few weeks back. I think i might bite the bullet and go Quad...since my old processor is an AMD 939 socket and the motherboard I have is no longer avail.
