Being a Direct Response marketeer for so many years, numbers sort of fascinate me.

Fer instance, I've often wondered what the "real" readership of this forum is. I know there are a lot of folks out there who read but are too shy to comment or write.

So how about this experiment.

Grazie, a few years ago I knew an Elizabeth Riley who had as a personal number plate (on her car, that is): ER 010, and although she worked in the computer centre it had never ocurred to her what a nice pun that was.

Also could be 0x31 (hexadecimal) or \061 (octal).

And 00110001 is the same in an 8 bit, or 1024 bit world - just add leading zeros!
