OT: Test a DVD in PAL Land

Sierra Nomad Photography wrote on 12/2/2009, 9:28 AM
Hi:

My dad had a video he made transferred to DVD and replicated. Thing is, it doesn't play on all NTSC players.

He has already sent fliers to PAL regions of the world; but now we have serious questions about them playing in PAL players, since they don't play in all NTSC.

Is there anyone in PAL land that would be willing to test this DVD (it's on Model T Ford) on their player? Preferably someone with access to several players.

Thank you,

Jon

I can test it for you.

I have 7 DVD players (including PCs and Macs) so it should be fairly thorough.

send me a message if you are interested.
Thanks

That would be great. I just need your address.

Thank you!

Jon

P.S. I don't see a way to send you a PM.

I can test too in a range of players from cheap to expensive. I've emailed you via the link in your profile.

Bob & TLF:

A sincere "thanks" for the offer, but MacVista has several players and should be able to adequately test it.

Sorry for not getting back sooner, I didn't think to check this thread again (btw, I never did get your email, TLF).

Sincerely,

Jon
