Wow, all this is making my head spin.

I do wonder, though, what keeps you guys from falling off down there. A friend once mentioned velcro (he vacationed there once) but I know that can't be right.

Well I had to laugh when I read this
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2078301/Mind-sleigh-Airlines-given-permission-fly-North-Pole-time-slashing-hours-exotic-destinations.html

it’s a ball Mr Branson flying over the top is the same distance as flying around the side so we will take the reduced cost thank you very much
but now please don’t tell me you intend flying through the earth because that would be the only short cut and if that is the case then I will leave my cameras at home.

Wow Jerry that is stunning, when I looked at Grazie’s stuff, man I can’t get those good shots we have too much moisture in the air even with a high ISO we are leaving winter so it was our driest period but still nothing decent.

Interesting discussion.

Here's a couple of my moon shots with a T3i and a Nikkor AIS ED 600mm.

Very different looks of the moon from here in Salt Lake City from down under. Looks like they are a mirror left to right rather than vertically?

Cheers,
Pete

Pete remarkable shots thanks for sharing., good observation about the mirrored perspective that how I visualize it as well, the only time I saw the moon upside down is when the cam was upside down. That’s the wonderful freedom of being an artist or cinematographer/videographer.
