OT: Ultimate S Support??

kentwolf wrote on 12/10/2007, 7:04 AM
Hey, do you guys know if the correct way to contact Ultimate S support is a message to support@vaast.com?

That is what I believe I saw in my Ultimate S files/literature. I also did not get a message bounce back.

I sent a note there, and then e-mailed Spot via the forum here. I didn't hear anything from either, so just wondering if I am doing this right.

Thanks.

From the VASST website FAQ:

Contact technical support by clicking the VASST logo in Ultimate S , and you'll find the email address there. Or, you can send mail to ultimatesupport [at] vasst [dot] com. Additionally you can visit the scripting forums at http://www.dmnforums.com/cgi-bin/displaywwugindex.fcgi?forum=vegas_scripting

I just tried the dmn forums and it looks like their servers are down; seems to be happening a lot lately.

Lately? How about most of the time?

OK, I am a My DMN subscriber paying extra to skip the ads, and that has had even more downtime than the free service.

Very sad.

If they had any business sense, they would hire knowledgeable IT staff to fix their extremely poor infrastructure.

No, "support" is not the correct id for software support.

It's in the About Box
It's in Start | All Programs | VASST | Ultimate S3 | Read Me
It's in Start | All Programs | VASST | Ultimate S3 | Ultimate S3 User's Guide

I can't think of any other places to put it and I make them live links so all you have to do is click and it opens your email program; but no one seems to send support emails to the correct id. :( So it's not just you.

You can always contact me via email here through the forum. The DMN Forum is back up also.

Hey guys, I was on tour with VASST at DVExpo, and I know that everyone was out of the office or out of the country, and the guys at DVExpo were having all kinds of internet troubles in their hotelrooms etc... so I'm guessing that everyone is just getting delayed responses due to problems while on the road.
