Add me to the list of fenced out of the meadow. For some unknown reason my account was deactivated and it would not allow me to sign up again. After trying to contact them over and over I finally reached Ron ( a couple of years later) and explained that there appeared to have been a glitch. The result was was the pasture gate was closed and locked.

Its a shame because there are a lot of great people there.

The old theory about chickens,... ;-) you can have only a rooster per 10-50 chickens or the roosters create chaos fighting who's the alpha. ;-) ..., can be applied to website hosting.

Egos larger than galaxies can exist in such small spaces.... ;-). call websites...... and as most universe models predict, less than 1% mass/matter fills that space of a galaxy. ;-)

But there is order..... in the universe,....well maybe.... ;-)

Rory, I'm glad you weren't allowed to post. You sound like a whiner. And as evidence, we have your thread here on a site that has nothing to do with your situation.

It's COW's forum, and they can run it as they see fit.

Looking at the subject line, it clearly states 'OT'. So, Rory has labelled the post correctly, informing us all that his post has nothing to do with this forum. If you don't like off-topic posts, don't read them.

Rory is simply telling us of his experience. Nothing wrong with that.

I learned a long time ago to ignore most of what Dgates says as it's usually not relevant to what's being discussed.

This forum needs a good Vegas 10 rumor.

The daily personal attacks are a symptom that the villagers are getting restless.

Here are two rumors from the street (OK, they're from Sesame Street, but still):

1. Vegas 10 has an API for 3rd party plug-ins.

2. Vegas 10 has been rewritten to replace the "Video for Windows" OS-interface (that Microsoft told developers to drop 10 years ago) with a modern interface that has 8x the performance and allows for many new features with less coding.

...the villagers are getting restless.

A sure sign that we're tired of winter (at least those of us in the northern hemisphere are!!)

I'd be ecstatic to see 9.0d with ALL the bugs fixed.
Time to go back to dreamland now :-)

Let's not be too greedy -- how about 9.0d with *most* of the bugs fixed sometime in the not too distant future.

I was watching the end of a documentary last night on a couple of guys rebuilding a WWII glider - they expected to have it completed by year's end ... but they would not commit to just which year :-)

Definitely tired of winter, however, up here in the Seattle area, it was 70 degrees yesterday (F that is) ... granted, it is 49 and raining today, but it sure felt good while it lasted !!

Sorry mikey but I am greedy.
They've already had 3 chances to get the bugs out so this one better be really good!!

p.s. our weather is just like yours.
Took the kids to a beach (near Windsor, Ontario) on Friday afternoon in almost 70° weather - and then it dropped like a stone to a current high of only 41 today :-(
The long range forecast isn't much better either.
Oh well, spring is here so things will get better soon.
