Trying to reload Vegas pro11 and other sony programs after having to do a clean install of Win7 and some of the program registrations won't go through, probably because loaded too many times...BUT trying to get new activation codes from Sony, I am in an endless loop and none of their phone numbers are responding (message that they are in "training"...passwords are not working into the site, and the email responses are not coming back...WTF!

Annoying yes, but why not run in 30day trial mode whilst you make contact.

If you cannot get through to 'help' try sales. The 'sales' line is always open and in the past I have found them most helpful particularly when taking a Trans Atlantic call. Remember the 'sales responder' is not responsible for the help line not working. Also remember to 'smile'.

Best of luck.

I had the same problem about a month ago where no one would answer the phone.
I gave up and sent them Customer Service an email.
Within the hour I had my authorization count reset and I was back in business.

Happened with me too Mike after my initial un-install of 11. I also did a clean un-install then re-install of 9e. An e-mail to customer service explaining the situation got a reply - and a reset - within a couple of hours.

thanks for the support folks...have sent emails, filled out forms, reset passwords, (apparently there is another password besides the one for the forums to get onto sony's support) and tried calling every # listed on the website...message is that everyone is in "training". Thinking they are ramping up for Vegas V12 release and all the calls that will be coming in then. Funny thing is that when I look at my registered software under my account the program is not listed, but i can find it under orders with the order # and everything...I have had it on this computer working before the reinstall of windows, so I know it was registered.

Everyone should keep in mind that the SCS support servers have been seriously hacked one more than once. No one really knows what happened to the private data.

However, we do know that SONY in order to restore their servers and the support system interface cleanly in the new tighter security environment - did NOT get it right as to preserving all of the original data for all of the customers. My own registration went south in this process. SCS knows about it.
