OT: VHS-DVD player recorder

Hi does anybody know of a dvd-vhs combo recorder that does not automatically put menus in so i can do just a direct copy of a vhs tape to dvd? even a standalone dvd recorder that does this would be cool

Pioneer LX-1 will allow you to make an autoplay disc. Unfortunately they are quite pricey. Some other pioneer recorders will output a disc that either autoplays or stops first, depending on the playback deck it is placed in, but they still have a menu if you press the menu button.

I don't know of any vhs/dvd decks that will do this, but I haven't researched them, either.
