OT: Video articles available

Over the past years I've written and published several articles which deal with various aspects of video production and the business of video. They are wide-ranging and, of course, reflect my experiences and insights.

Since trade papers tend to be discarded as soon as they are read, I've collected these and made them available on our web site, in hopes that they'll get on-going circulation. They can also be accessed through the Articles link on our homepage.

One article in particular may be of interest: it's an indexed collection of hundreds of links to books and articles which deal with video production. These links are verified every week by our link checking service, so any link listed will be active. There are many very useful resources listed here.

New-comers to our profession may find these articles especially useful, and hopefully old video hands will find them interesting as well.

Enjoy,

Jack

Jack,

Thanks for the articles. They are very well done and extemely useful. I too come from a theatrical background, the technical side, and your discussion of working with the crew to plan audio and shooting location is excellent advice. I have found that most people will do all they can to assist you if you just work with them.

Anyway, I really appreciate your sharing of your insights with the community.

Jack,

Thanks for posting the articles. I enjoyed meeting you and Judy at the 4EG Expo.
