OT-Video Depositions

I was thinking of retiring and getting into doing video depositions, although I must admit,
I know nothing about how to do these. Does anyone know of how one can get started
and what is needed? Thanks in advance.

I have no connection with the above agency - other than through my google search.

This topic comes up quite often on www.videotoasternt.com/forums - quite a few folk there deal with this marketplace and mention their requirements when they feel they could have some of the processes refined.

Timecode - unambiguous edits and dubbing rules (that might reset timecode etc) - seem to be the main areas. The playback equipment in the courts also has to be matched in many instances - no draggnig along your edit suite, in most instances.

Some of it seems to be for the best in legal terms. Other parts of what I've read seem to be to encourage a closed shop of suppliers.

There are "associations" you can look up online. They will prove training and certification. Can be a good thing to have in certain markets, depending on where you live.
