I work in Vegas, my partner works in FCP on the Mac. I used Veritas RecordNow to take some .AVI files I created in Vegas and burn them to a DVD-R as DATA (not video) so she could import them and work with them. My PC can see the files just fine; when we put the disk in the MAC, it claims there are 0 files on the disk. Now, note that I've burned regular video DVDs with DVD Architect and the Mac can read and play them just fine - both by playing the movie, and also just looking at the disk (you can see the AUDIO and VIDEO directories and the files). I burned two disks and both of them did the same thing on two different iMacs and both are readable in my two PC DVD drives. Normally, we just network our computers together and exchange files just fine - this is the first time we tried doing it through data DVDs.
I'm thinking that maybe I need to make data DVDs differently to be compatible with the Mac - any suggestions?
