OT: video streaming

Got a few questions that need answering re: video streaming.
1. To those who have a broadband connection, does streamed video play well, the majority of the time?
2. Apparently non-interlaced video is best for streamed content. Is this the case?
3. Re: cameras. I guess there is no great requirement to have the very latest featured camera for this type of usage? Got an eye on a GL2 / XM2.
Your thoughts appreciated.

Stefan, to answer your questions...

1. Yes, it plays very well.
2. Yes, progressive is best.
3. If you're in NTSC land, then the GL2 would be your best bet. If you're PAL country, then the XM2 is for you!
