OT? : Video with multilingual audi streaming

I have tried to use Google but im not sure if im using the right "question" So i thought to go back to my old friends here in the forum.

I have a project going on, basically a distance learning. What we would like to do is to have one video source that will stream over the Internet, in addition we will have two audio sources language1 and language2 also streaming of the Internet. The teacher is gonna do speak his native language (language1) where i go do a voice-over in english (language2).

I have read that some video formats support multilingual audio sources(?), but could anybody point out which format that support this (mostlikely the video is gonna stream to Windows targeted students, or Windows and Linux, not sure yet).

I would also like to know if its any streaming players out there that would support such a concept of one video and two or more audio sources (as in multilingual). Does anybody has any experience with this kind of video-editing. And is it any free available codes that i would need to acomplish this.

Any feedback of either know solutions or experience is really welcomed.

So it breaks down to this:
Any video/file format that support one video but multiple audi sources for differente language.

Which codes is needed?

Does Windows Media player support this ( know that is support caption, but thats different?).

Sincerely

I don't know if this is possible. One trick that is possible is just to assign each language one of the stereo pairs however I don't think that'll work on low bitrate audio as the compression relies on much stereo having a large centre channel component. You could try it though, just create something in Vegas with totaly different audio in each channel and compress it to say WMP9 at your target bitrate and see how it comes out.

You need to download Windows Media Encoder and Stream Editor. It is Free. There are tutorials on how to do exactly what you are asking. I work for a Foreign language translation company doing voiceovers and editing.
