OT: VISIONFEST 04 in NYC

In case anyone was interested I think this is interesting. The festival kicks off with a screening of Able Edwards described thusly:

Created on an ultra low-budget and employing the use of green screens and desktop digital technology for the realization of its colossal, 'virtual,' sets, the film, directed by Graham Robertson, who also produced with Scott Bailey, and executive produced by Oscar-winner, Steven Soderbergh, is innovative in its production design (which is all generated via computer imaging) and its use of a miniscule budget to tell a story of epic proportions.

In any case it is June 23-27, 2004 at NYU. I will be in Florida so won't be able to make it...so someone tell me how it is (was).

Likewise, but I can't - lots of school related things going on for my 5 year old. I do really really plan on getting to DV Expo East however if you are going to be there.
