OT: Visionlab Studio half price at DJ

I've never used this product but it looks pretty simple to use and at half price of $249 looks like reasonable bargain Could be a good alternative for those who need VFXs without paying for and learning any of the high end applications.

I've been playing with the demo for a few days now. It has quite a few effects to it but doesn't seem to have a lot of flexibility in tailoring/customizing them. It seems to work with Cineform AVI's and has a HDV template, but apparently it will not work with M2T/MPG (that MAY be a restriction of the demo.... not sure)

It has crashed on me a few times for no reason that I can think of.

At 1/2 price (IMO)...it MIGHT be worth it, but I sure wouldn't pay full price for it. At full price it would probably be better to throw a few more bucks at the cause and jump to Adobe AE.
