Anybody ever dealt with these guys? I got an email from them last week saying the usual telemarketing stuff like, "we are only going to use one videographer from your area, if you are interested contact us...".
Well, I went to their website and it seems legit, but basically what they want is somebody to shoot for them and make calls to local business to drum up business. From there, they write the script, edit, and mass produce the product in various formats.
Basically they would pay you between 200-600 for a 2-6 hour shoot. It sounds though that if I made the calls and set up the business, I would be more than capable of providing mass production as well as various formats and edit the footage myself turning that 200-600 into 2,000-6,000. It doesn't seem like such a good deal to me, but then again, if I did not like editing I could see how this might be a decent thing, but then again, if I didn't like editing, I believe I could hire someone to do that and still come out making more than these guys want to pay.
