ok, just finished a project and they've come back wanting a web gallery of stills from the video - they're the client so i'm not going to argue!

so, i can create some limited galleries in cs4 / bridge, but i was wondering if anyone out there (or rather in here) has any software they can recommend?

Free JALBUM is pretty good, Leslie.

I've been using http://photobucket.com/Photobucket[/link] for a few years now. It's free but you can upgrade to remove the ads.

I use Web Album Generator. Free software, easy to use, done clean, easy to use, no BS albums.

they look like this. you can customize some things (ie thumb size, layout, etc).

I use photoreflect.com but that is mainly for selling prints. It syncs up with your pictures on your hard drive and electronically sends them to the printing house of your choice. The only problem is if you move the pictures- you have to tell it where they are. You can also password protect the pictures so only those who know it can view the pictures.

I've heard good things about Jalbum too.

It may be better for you to host them on a sharing site. Photobucket has been mentioned. Smugmug is very good. There's always Flickr where you have good control over privacy settings if that is important.

If you want to go further with web galleries on your own site then Gallery and Coppermine open-source PHP galleries are good, but probably more trouble to set up than Jalbum.

zenfolio is one that i use but again more more phot storage, Gallery Viewing print ordering and client downloads. but has a great slide show plug in or embed option.
example if you click on "slideshows" of one of my websites:

had a look at all suggestions, jalbum looks pretty interesting (and FREE!), so i'll have a play with it.
