OT: What drive enclosure best for 200G WD?

Got a 200GB Western Digital Special Edition, Hard Drive 8MB Cache w/controller
Model: WD2000JBRTL coming from ebay and am wondering what drive enclosure will work best with it and vegas. Got worried when I read that some drive enclosures are limited to 160GB and below. Was planning on picking up an ads pyro shoe-- am I dreaming? will that work? I'll be running V4 on WinXPS1 machine.

I highly recommend the ADS pyro external enclosure... mine are working well.

FWIW, you might check-out CrampUSA this week, they are offering a WD120GB in a FW enclosure for 199.00usd.

P.S. 2MB cache.... hmmmmmmmm.

I had to return an ADS Pyro external...according to ADS tech support, their enclosure won't work with any Western Digital drive larger than 120 gig. I know for sure it wouldn't work with a Western Digital 160 gig. I called ADS tech support and they admitted problems and recommended I get a Maxtor drive if going over 120 gig.

So I returned the ADS and got a combo firewire/usb2 drive enclosure from www.firewiredirect.com and it works great with the larger Western Digital drives. I also believe the firewiredirect drive does away with my "unable to mix audio" problem I was having with an older firewire enclosure.

wethree, scratch what I said earlier. Having done some extensive research, I have found that ADS tanks s*ck for anything larger than 120GB (mine are 120s). You might try firewiredirect.com for a combo enclosure. Having done more extensive research, I think they might help that "mixing audio" crud.

CompUSA, that great Mexican company, has Maxtor 200GB 7200RPM 8MB drives on sale starting yesterday (I think for two weeks), at a net price after all rebates, of $199.99 plus uncle sam's grift. The price included a PCI ATA133 HD Controller card capable of handling up to 4 drives.
