OT: What is this cool new laptop?

Hope someone can figure this out - I saw a write-up in the local newspaper on a new laptop that I was interested in, but the paper disappeared before I saved that section and after trying the publisher, libraries, etc. to no avail, I thought someone in the Vegas forum might have heard about it.

Here's what I recall: It was described as the Ferrari of of laptops - it was beautiful to look at - people would gathter around to see it (marketing hype I know, but it may jog your memory) , had fantastic speakers and 4 fans! The final 2 clues are that it was manufactured in Florida and I am pretty sure the name began with the letter "A".

If anyone knows what laptop this might be referring to, would be most grateful to know. Thanks a mil.

As a potential portable editing station, this thing caught my eye:

I have a Ferrari 3400 running XP x64 edition. It has served me well. I was looking for the manual on the Acer website and saw they had the manual for the Ferrari 5000 which has not been released yet. I read the specs - wow!! See link below:

Cool.
But thought it funny that almost the first thing i the manual is how to dispose of this machine.
Even before it's on the market we are reminded it will become obsolete.
Know it's a fact of life.
Just found that humourous.
