Solution: Ask your Ophthalmic Optician to prescribe YOUR viewing prescription with a Blue and Red tint. OR have a 3-D clip-over or Flip-up.

grazie, i find a little acid does for the red and blue tint, and boy, EVERYTHING is in 3d man....

The passive Sony glasses I got with my set are in two parts, a clip on section that you can clip onto your existing glasses and a frame to make them into normal glasses if you don't wear glasses normally. Well thought out method.

Nobody mentionned the new 3D tvs displaying 3 pictures at the same time :
left, right and anti right. The anti right picture is computed on the fly.
if you do not wear 3D glasses, right and anti right cancel each other, and you watch your movie in 2D (left picture only).
If you do wear glasses, your left eye can see the left picture, the right eye the right picture, and the anti right picture is not displayed : you fell the 3D.
With this kind of display, everybody can choose what he/she prefers.

Indeed, some 3D films are great.
