Like me I'm sure that many of you buy equipment online. Before your next purchase check out these 2 pages, like me you're in for a surprise ! Be warned, some of the pictures are not pretty, they may just change your buying habits.

Just curious, but why does it matter? If you get what you paid for and it's in good shape, then the appearance of the store is pretty much meaningless.

The operative word is IF, what happens if you dont ? A lot of these places are also selling Gray Market stuff that is from dubious sources and does not have a full US warranty. I guess I'm old fashioned but even when I buy online I want to know theres a real bricks and mortar store i can turn to if necessary.

Exactly! I always research a store as best I can before I buy. If the reputation and price are good then I don't care where they are located. A nice location just increases costs.

Too true - I can think of at least one place in the UK that started by working out of little more than a lockup. They earned a good rep, went for up market premises and had to raise their prices and lower their standards. I'm interested in the people behind a company, not the state of the brickwork.
