After a very positive "trial period" since may with Windows 7 Beta and RC1 I bought a real version.
First I looked at the comparison between the 3 versions http://store.microsoft.com/Windows7/Compare and as I did not need XP mode etc. I was happy to see that Home Premium was the right version for me.
So I bought and downloaded (3 GB) and installed and everything looked well - until I noticed that the script New Deshaker was 20% slower than usual.
A look at the Task manager surprised me: one of my 2 Xeons was not there anymore...
I googled and found that some said that Home Premium was with 2 processors and very few said it was not...
To save time I then bought an Ultima version (could use the Home on my new Laptop, so no harm) and installed that one - and YES now my machine has the 2 quad Xeons again....
... so take care when you choose your new Windows 7 version.
