These forums are incredibly valuable, and have helped me climb the learning curve with ease. Will they continue here, move, or be discarded when Sony actually takes over?
Browsing these forums and looking at the support helped convince me to buy Vegas. I'd sure hate to have to do without.
If you were Sony, would you drop these forums? No? Have you reason to think Sony people are less smart than you are yourself? No? OK, the forums will stay. Forever.

I'm a little confused here : can I still remove my shoes to eat sheppard's pie at home? What's confusing is that back home in french, we call it "pâté chinois" which is, word for word "chinese pie". And it sure has NotHinG to do with some sort of chinese food. And the Japanese sure have nothing to do with Chinese, although there's sure been some sheppard in both countries since there must be sheeps and goats everywhere in the world ... ?:/
Mmm, what's the meaning of "wakarimasuka" JMac? Went to Japan twice, love sushi (in fact if I was rich I'd eat these at least 4 times a week!) and the more we learn, the more... we know. As long as "worldish knowledge" is some kind of a value... ;)
Easy guys... don't start a war; there's video games on line / LAN parties for that! :)
Johnny, in my opinion you are WAY too sensitive and see "racism" and "slander" under nearly every bush. There's nothing racist about anything anybody said in this thread or in the others you commented on in the past. Please...lighten up. If we can't laugh at others, their customs and ourselves, (and I routinely make fun of myself here, you can too, be my guest) its a sad world.
After all, I'm just a late middle aged white guy with a receding hairline, failing eyesight, diminished hearing and a growing waistline with a declining sex drive. In other words... a mess. Still, I have fun. Well sort of. <wink>
I'm with BillyBoy, there was nothing racist about his post.
The focus of the humor was not about Japanese customs, the focus was he wasn't worried about negative consequences of the Sony purchase. Exaggerrated consequences was the device of the joke, not the focus.
