OT - WixXP help needed

Hi all -
Followed the very interesting advice from last week and installed and ran SpyBot.
No problem there, (cleaned out a bunch of garbage) but now my darn WinXP Pro keeps logging me off, every time I get up to go do something.(Work human... Work!)

I know there's a switch or setting to keep the computer on all the time (I did it before).
Can someone redirect me, puhleeze??

I think we're talking the same thing... Control Pannel, power options. Switch to the always on power scheme. Set everything to never. Then you monitor won't go off or your drives spin down and Windoz won't snooze in standby mode.

If I'm going to be away from the computer for awhile I just flip the power switch on the monitor. However you may find it better to install a screen saver, better one with a pass word, so after a preset time, the screen saver kicks in and only you or someone that knows the password can get back in. For that Control Panel, Display/Screen Saver. Check on resume, password protect. Just don't forget to disable the screen saver before you do any print to tape or capture or it could cause dropped frames.

I knew it was in there somewhere... thanks.
Actually under the Contol Panel>Power Options>Advanced> it had a "Ask for password after resuming" check box.

Back - solved the wrong problem.

Here's what happens. If I don't use the computer for a few minutes, it logs me off and puts me back into the first main "log-in" screen. So I have to re-log in get back to Vegas.

Anyone know how to turn this feature off. It's only reasserted itself since I "cleaned" my computer with SpyBot.
