Jessariah - that looks AMAZING!
The rods they're using look "different" and the method for mounting the camera isn't what I'm used to seeing.
I couldn't find an article on how they achieved this setup. BUT I WANT ONE!
(Well, I THINK I want one... Does anybody reading this thread know of a reason - hold it... I'll start a new thread - Ignore this...

Coursie? I've crawled all over the DVinfo site .. but I can't locate the 3 camera shootout? I've seen the "stills" of the setups .. but not the actual footage .. . you got a link to that? Please?

They just shot this two days ago, haven't put up the footage yet, only the stills so far.

I think we can trust the very high humidity in this posting to keep the pressure up...

:O)

How did we forget:
"Correctly Implemented 24p footage that requires nothing special or any fancy software tricks to see"
from the list?

and Yes, I said "p" not "f". Please don't make me explain why....do some research if you're unsure or feel like debating.

Shannon,
In the interests of honesty, it's pretty clear why Canon calls it "F" and no one else does. No one else other than Canon is willing to tell it truthfully. Maybe Sony will when/if they do a true 24 cam in the lower price range. But since the image is derived from interlaced just like everyone else' , I personally applaud Canon for calling it for what it is. It's not a true progressive image no matter how you slice it. Even though it comes out of the camera as such.
