OT: Yamaha keyboard

Happy New Year to all.

I was given a Yamaha PSR-170 two years ago as an Xmas pressie but have never used it but would now like to attempt to add my own effects and music to my productions.

It has MIDI in/out and I have Audigy Platinum also with MIDI in/out.

Could anyone recommend any tutorials/info on using this keyboard with V4 either directly or through third party software.

Vegas does not support recording MIDI. You will have to connect the audio outs of the Yamaha to the line in of the Audigy and record the audio output of the Yamaha or using MIDI you can trigger the Audigy's synth or SoundFonts and record that audio into Vegas probably by using the SB's "What U Hear" channel in it's mixer..
