There's no dust, no papers, no notes, no fingerprints on the monitors, no smelly chairs, no old pieces of computer hardware laying around, no garbage bags half full of junk, no old VHS tapes, no 8-tracks, ----------------------------geezzzz, is this nirvana?
JJK
you guys show that & i'm supposed to post my wobbly-computer desk with sticker-covered monitor, 1998 scanner & misc. tables I've found along the way to put stuff on? :D
We joke here that they don't trap nasty post-Thanksgiving gasses.
A slightly cheaper alternative is a Knoll Chadwick chair. That's what I bought for home (my dime, not theirs) and it's nearly as good. In fact, for 150 bucks less, it's just as good as the Aeron.
I hear a big rubber Pilates ball is also good.
The kings of desk messes are the engineers at our biggest client's facility. I think they just fill up their cubes and move to a new one.
Here's mine, although the two 21" computer monitors have been replaced with a pair of Dell 24" LCDs and the monitor above the computer monitors has been replaced with a 42" LCD. As you can tell, I am not a neat-freak.
There is no contest. Hands-down, i have the messiest workspace of anyone here. I'll guarantee that. Some days it takes me quite a while to find my keyboard before i can get to work.
So, rather than frighten you all to an early grave, i'll post a picture of what i built today for another area of the house.
OK, too stupid here to figure out how to post a photo here if I don't have a website. I don't understand how even after reading "sticky" post on forum.
Ah, I have the pictures, but I'm ignorant about how to post them here. I could revamp my webpage and stick it there for a link, but fixing that page requires more time than I wish to expend (right now).
