OT: YouTube Stretching Credibility...?

YouTube claims that "20 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute,..."

Am I the only only one who finds that hard to believe? That amounts to 28,800 hours of video every day! Or 864,000 hours a month!

How could they possibly keep up with that capacity?

They have their own "backbone", and much of the process is automated.

I have no problem believing it, comprehending it is another matter.
The amount of traffic carried by the Internet today is staggering as is the number of servers. No one knows much about Google and Youtube but sometime ago I recall it being said that Facebook runs on 35,000 servers.
