output for dvd menu video w/ alpha

I'd like to use Vegas to output video for video buttons for DVD. Say maybe 100x100 pixels or so. Sometime with alpha sometimes just the full frame, just reduced.

Examply, make a wavey tex label for an animated button for use on a DVD menu. I normally would do this in a 3D program, but can get some results I want from Vegas. Just can't figure out how to output with the alpha channel. Any ideas as to settings if Vegas can do this. Using ver. 5 right now.

Vegas 5 can render with the alpha channel, it has to be an uncompressed file, The bigger question is whether or not your DVD authoring app will accept the alpha channel. Some don't.
Your DVD authoring app won't allow you to size or shape an existing video file?
