Output separate audio & video?

I see this as an option for PAL, but not for NTSC. Am I missing it, or is this not possible?

I don't have VMS to hand, but from memory you only have the option of elementary streams with PAL. I assume this is because mp2 audio is supported in the PAL DVD standard but not NTSC. Also from memory, I don't think I've ever got it to work!!
