I haven't installed or tried registering VV4, etc. since my "bag" came several days ago......BUT.......(ARE YOU LISTENING SONIC FOUNDRY)!!!!...........
If I have ANY problems with my registration. I want ONE of two things:

1. An attentive Customer Service Rep. who will stay with me until the problem is resolved.

OR:

2. A pastrami on rye (easy on the mustard)

MyST: i'm just guessing here, but i would assume that a patch would have to be released to alter the software in order to have a permanent activation code. However, that would probably be a rather small and easy patch.

Do you think that patch would stick more than camel snot on a doorknob?!?

Is that saying copyrighted? Cuz I plan on using it alot! Well OK, maybe not in these forums.

PS: Still laughin'

Can I confirm......

"I just finished installed Vegas 4 and DVD Architect on a 2nd machine which the license allows"

I can load the software in two places at once, for myself, eg laptop and home PC?

I e-maied, this enquiry and got no reply from the mailshot to purchase the software.

Yes, you are allowed to load it on two computers AS LONG AS only one is used at a time.

As Dave Barry might say in his column in the newspapers, "Camel Snot on the Doorknob" would be an EXCELLENT name for a rock band.

BillyBoy: I have learned a lot from your posts and web pages. I agree that this disconnect was an insult, but the world is full of insults, and this was a very small (and unintentional) insult. Given the problems the SF gang is going though, I suggest we ease up a bit.

Actually, I think that WAS a 50's group...Camel Snot and the Doorknobs.

Can you picture the lead signer trying to brag when introducing himself to cute groupies..." Hi, I'm Camel Snot, and these are my knobs." ???

Hence, I would say the "remote desktop" option is a no-go...

I'm still laughing about the "Camel Snot Group". I could hardly finish this.

PS: The name of the man who came up with this "Snocker" was Ted willing---1972
while we were working as electronic techs in Greenland and we thought it was
so stupid we used it all the time even if there was no call for it.

PS: I apologize to BillyBoy for putting this trashy stuff on his thread.

I need a good laugh after all the crap I put up with using DVDA the last couple days.
MyST wrote on 3/16/2003, 8:16 PM
BB, did you see they have a beta update for DVD-A?
Check the DVD-A forum.
