move files from one open vegas to another open vegas on
same machine?
I cannot get this to happen.
Sorry guys, finally getting a chance to play a bit.
Cheers.
David - Open two Vegas's. Then, select the events to copy and hit
ctrl-c to copy or Menu-->Edit--Copy. Then alt-tab to other Vegas
instance and paste on a track. You don't need to create the tracks in
advance - it will rememeber the position and track count.

David you, can't do it from the "open" menu right inside Vegas. It's
like actually running the program twice at the sametime and then
toggling between the windows and doing a cut and paste. Just start
with a Mix template and open it twice in windows.

but someone else was complaining earlier that it did not work for
them. Have you tried it?

Hey one more thing, I JUST started doing this the other day.
Open your media pool, look at the time stamp...they put one in there
WOOOO HOOOO!!!!! prolly was there all along and I just never noticed,
stupid me.
anyways go to project properties and enter a ruler start time
somewhere around the timecode in point of your event, then turn on
snap to cursor, and drop all your waveforms in on the correct point!
