PA is skewing rendering

I installed the trial of production assistant, but now the audio and video of my renders is out of sync. the render visually looks complete, but shows only about 50% on the progress bar, then the other 50 goes by fast. When I play back on something like realplayer, the audio completes about halfway through but the video keeps going. Major cateywupus.

I tried it on a PC with Vegas sans PA and it worked fine.

I certainly don't want to have to uninstall PA.

PA doesn't actually render anything. It doesn't modify any of the Sony render templates, either. PA is a set of additional templates that call on what already exists within Vegas, but doesn't add nor subtract anything from the Vegas rendering processes.

More information about which template you're using might help. Also, be sure you're not selecting part of the timeline for one render and another part of the timeline for another.
