I'm rendering an mpg to wmv but having trouble. The picture looks good but I'm having issues with out of sync audio when setting the frame rate to 29.97 NTSC. On the other hand the audio is in sync when I set the frame rate to 25.00 PAL but then the resulting file will flicker some. The source file is an mpg with a frame rate of 29.97 and 48K stereo audio. This file plays fine in Windows Media Player and Media Player Classic but when playing from the Vegas timeline the audio is out of sync.

Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.000 Square
Video Smoothness 100 (sharpest) -- also did 0 for smoothest with same result
left the default compression buffer checkbox unchecked
and also checked it and set to 5 and 10 with same results
Audio mode: cbr
WMA 9.1
320 kbps stereo, 44.1K
Bit rate: Internet/LAN 3M
