PAL related question

I need to burn a DVD for PAL country. I create an MPEG2 PAL file out of Vegas then import it into Architect with PAL template... SO why is it that i can still preview it on my video monitor??? When i pop the burned DVD into my regular DVD player it plas with including sound and color...? What's going on?

Your computerdoesn't care whether it's PAL or NTSC. More and more, US players are capable of playing NTSC and PAL.

You might be making an effort your don't have to. Most television-related compoents (TVs, DVD players, VCRs) in PAL countries can also play NTSC video.
