Pan and Crop window

I have a feeling that this is an 'easy when you know how' question. There are times when I get the pan and crop window on screen and the window only partially appears - the area showing Position, Rotation, etc. I cannot see the actual picture that I want to pan and crop - no amount of dragging or rearranging windows seems to help. Can anyone tell me why this happens and how to get the complete window back?

(Occasionally when I do get the complete window, the clip that I want to edit appears as a very small picture that makes it difficult to edit).

To get all the window to show, try double clicking the very top of the window on the blue header where it says 'Video Event FX'. For the other problem, look on the left at your options and find 'workspace' at the bottom and go to 'zoom' and you can see your clip as large or small as you like. Let us know if this helps. Cin

Thanks for the assistance. I thought there had to be an easy way out if only I knew it. Sod's Law means that at the moment my pan/crop window is behaving itself but I have tried out your suggestion anyway and can see how the view changes with the double-click on the top of the window. Thanks for giving me something up my sleeve to try when it plays up again,
