Pan FX - Begin/End feature

I have searched the forums but have not been able to find anything on the Begin/End feature in the Pan FX. I used to use Nova Video Explosion which had this feature. I recently upgraded to Vegas Platinum 9 and cannot locate it.

This feature allows me to set a "beginning" location to start a pan and an "ending" location to finish it. It would allow me to zoom in/zoom out of the clip automatically. For example, I frequently imbed still photos in my video. I would start the pan at a full screen and end the shot with a closeup of an object in the photo. It is a cool feature.

Can anyone tell me how I do this in Vegas Plat 9?

You use the timeline on the bottom of the pan/crop FX panel. You add keyframes there for the beginning and end, and then Vegas figures out the rest.

thanks! I was wondering what that was. It's not as intuitive as the Begin/End feature. I've downloaded the manual so I'll study it a bit.

What makes this far better than begin/end is that you can set as many keyframes as you wish. This allows you to do multiple moves/zooms of the image within one single event.
