I wanted to test out Vegas 9's ability to handle large image sizes so I took a five picture series I had made into a panorama using Photoshop CS3 and did a little pan & zoom.
I thought it turned out OK but probably would have played smoother if I increased the timeframe a bit.
The original image is 6426 x 1170. I set the project properties to 1440x1080i progressive scan and set the pan/crop tool to "match output aspect".
In case you're wondering, the image is of a large storm basin adjacent to a freeway (I do construction inspection for the local County Flood Control agency). If you look close when the image pans to the right, you'll see a couple of gentlemen that would rather not be seen. 8^)
