Pana HDC-Z10000 3D - Support in Vegas?

All

Does anyone have this camera and know if it's supported in Vegas for 3d workflow?

It seems to be amongst if not the best consumer Full HD 3d camera available now. It mentions here

http://www.awooza.com/uk/catalog/product/view/id/172031?aff_code=gg

that it supports a new AVCHD 3D progressive format what ever that means.

If anyone has this camera and has experience in Vegas I'd really appreciate your thoughts

Thanks

Matt

I have the Z10000 not yet, but some test-footage published at the net. And we know that it has the same MVC format at the Sony TD10.

So yes, you will be able to edit your 3D footage with Vegas.

Thanks, I just heard from a few sources that this camera uses AVCHD progressive 3D which apparently is the the first camera to support this. As it was released after the Sony 3d model I thought it must be different.

I don't think Vegas does support AVCHD 2.0. Articles such as this mention no support

http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/what-happens-vegas/502297-rendering-1080-60p-v-11-0-64-bit.html

Also has anyone purchased this camera yet? I can't seem to find it on sale anyway except this company from Hong Kong

There is no way I'm going to purchase from this company with no contact no and only a Hong Kong address.

"I don't think Vegas does support AVCHD 2.0"I have no problems using Vegas with 1080 60p AVCHD from my Panasonic TM700. Of course, that's not 3D.

Here's some source footage, if you want to test: parrots.zip

The German forum slashcam has tested the Z10000 - and the files can be edited in Vegas. By the way, for 3D we are talking about MVC-files, with the same structure as the Sony TD10. There are some 3D MVC files in the net.
