Panasonic AG-DVX100 24p capture program...

Hello everyone,

My ag-dvx100 is going to be shipped to me in the next few days. I was wondering what program I would be needing to capture the 24p footage and edit it in vegas without much change. I know there have been topics on this, but maybe someone can enlighten me on this new topic and let me know what I need as far as conversion software. thanks much!

Looking at the scheme of the advanced 2:3:3:2 pulldown the 24p version has, I immediately thought: this is a thing Vegas could be able to handle with a script. Could be a bit slow, but I think it can't be that awfully difficult to remove that mixed frame every five frames? The PAL variety obviously is simpler to handle, 25p or 50i, could be some field order problems, but we will see when the PAL version becomes available this month.

...just cleaning up some loose threads here.

The DVFilm program is no longer needed, you can now load your AG-DVX100 footage directly on the timeline and edit in 24p.
