Panasonic MXF in Vegas 12/13

I have been using DVFilm Raylight to edit footage from my Panasonic camera and have been quite happy with it.

Since Vegas 12 was release the P2 MXF are natively handled without Raylight being required. I am editing and event in Vegas 12 and it keeps crashing on the render. I have looked into every possible cause. I could not find anything. I even downloaded the Vegas Pro 13 trial and had the same crashes.

For fun I opened Vegas 10 copied the edit from 12 to 10. I applied the media FX again and did a clean render without issues.

It appears to me that the P2 MXF decoder included with Vegas 12/13 is inferior to the Raylight Ultra I have been using.

So the question I have, Is there a way to force Vegas 12/13 to utilize the Raylight decoder? I need the stability in work flow, but would hate to be stuck using Vegas 10 forever.

Thanks.

"Every possible cause?"

What have you tried?

Do you have a GPU? Try turning it off in Vegas.

Have you tried a clean install of windows, all the updates, latest video drivers, and vegas 13? You have no system specs in your profile, so its hard to see the level of your system configuration.
