Panasonic P2 conversion

I have several hours worth of footage in Panasonic P2 format I'd like to batch convert to a format Vegas can use.

The only conversion software I've heard about is Focus Enhancements FS HD File Converter Pro. It lists for $299. I've only read one review of it and it wasn't complementary.

I don't have access to the camcorder.

Has anybody used FS HD File Converter Pro? Is it good? Is there something else? Better, cheaper? ;-)

That looks good. It costs $195.

Anybody try P2Forge? It's only $45 and it supposedly will covert in batch mode.

This would be good for me because I'm working with someone who will use iMovie for experiments. He doesn't know how to use anything else. ;-)
