Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Version 9.0 (Build 55) running under Vista Ultimate on Sony VGN-AR790U/B laptop with all the latest updates installed.

1. Select Project – Import AVCHD Camcorder…
2. Under Source drop down box select “Browse…” and navigate to AVCHD folder (complete) copied from a memory card recorded with Panasonic HDC-SD1 camcorder.
3. Click on the “OK” button and observe the following error message: “An error occurred while opening one or more files. The file is most likely corrupted or of an unknown format.”

Adding stream files directly through the explorer window or through the “Import Media…” wizard seems to work ok, but it is not convenient when the number of clips is high.
