Hello.

If I am understanding correctly, you would need to purchase an actual
soundcard that would go into your computer, probably one with digital
ins/outs so you could transfer between your DAT machine and your
soundcard.
For assistance on finding a soundcard, you could ask your local Pro-
Audio dealer what would be best for you, after telling him or her
what you would like to ultimately do with your setup.
