Parhelia triple head display +canopus 1394 card and bay

The parhelia allows for a dual monitor display+ a TV out via composite or S-video but the tv out only works when..........

I can only get a preview to my Tv display while capturing within Vegas. As soon as i close the capture window and move to edit on the timeline with what i have captured, the Tv display feature is blank. The whole reason for buying this card was for this feature although now that i have it, i'll never go back to my old card.

When I do a preview to media player now with Parhelia I just punch a button
on the JVC JX-S700 and watch the preview on the monitor and the tv at the same
time. Its the same tv I use with the Canopus ADVC-100. I really kind of like
this setup as when the preview is finished I punch another button for the normal
V4 preview. God, I love this stuff.

I am a faithful Vegas use and Matrox cad buyer. I really want to get this new card of theirs for just this purpose.

i was considering getting a parhelia because i can't get my 1394 output to work at all!! looks like i'm completely out of luck now...

After better titling INSIDE Vegas, the Matrox Parhelia support is my top wish. I really HATE having to tie down my camcorder to pass through, but even worse is all that rewiring all the time.

The only thing I wonder about is that the Parhelia is a rather old design and overly pricy, and there are hints that it should be updated (replaced) soon in the media. That should cut the prices on some, keep the very high price on the new one.

We've just bought a Parhelia and 2 750s - we would dearly love full support for the Matrox cards especially the TV out.....
