Pass-through

To use a DV cam as a pass-through, should I have a DV cam with a Line-in? My camera has only a line-out :-(

It's pretty likely your AV outputs also double as AV inputs. Just plug your VCR into them and then your firewire into your computer and you'll have a pass-through!

At least that's the way it works on my Sony and most other camcorders.

I tried finding out about your camera, but the only info I could find was in German - sadly, I don't speak German!
